What is The Book?
The Book of Divergence is an ambitious project: a fusion of dance music, stories and role playing that puts the power in YOUR hands by asking you to choose between three characters, aspects of the creator, Matt Frequencies.
With each character representing one of Order, Chaos or Truth, and having their own storyline to tell with its own branching path, the first act sets up the conflict of these characters and presents both their story and the style of music they represent.
Once a character is chosen, the second act establishes the characters motivations and gives the crowd the chance to decide how the story will play out – and what music will be playing during that process!
An ever evolving story
Each performance of The Book of Divergence draws from the previous performances within that season. The music is forever evolving as we learn new things about each character, and while some songs may stay the same, some will get shuffled or changed completely to suit the event The Book is playing at.
Some endings will likely stay for a long time though…
