We created the Church of Base membership to bring together the fans of The Book aka the Disciples of Divergence outside of live performances.
Here, you can show your journey through The Book of Divergence, become a deeper part of the story, and journey with us as we learn more about this world we’ve created.
There is no membership fee or hidden costs – we provide this space for you to connect with us.
Disciples of Divergence
Everyone who attends a Book of Divergence performance is offered the option to become a disciple of the Church of Bass – someone who carries an Artefact, and who returns to discover additional endings.
The Disciples of Divergence are the most important part of The Book. Without you, there is no energy in the room, no shouting of hellish phrases, no singing, clapping or dancing.
The Book of Divergence cannot exist without the disciples. While each sermon is a performance, that performance includes you – or it fails.
If you have been part of a Book of Divergence story, we remember you.

The Artefact is our way of saying thank you, and offering encouragement to see alternative endings to the show.

Iconography reflects the state of The book
For each season of the Book, for as long as it runs, your artefact will be honoured – any session you attend will reward inserts for all artefacts held, even going back to the first showings. Everyone deserves the chance to finish their story, after all. However, you will not be able to begin collecting an Artefact once its season has concluded.

Attend a showing of The Book of Divergence in person
In the past, the artefact inserts were tied to a specific ending. This is no longer the case, as the point is not to ‘stack the deck’ or railroad the show. If you wish to do that within the crowd, well, that’s entirely up to you.
